Sol L. Irvine is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Global Outsourcing Practice in the New York office. His practice focuses on technology and outsourcing matters, particularly on information technology outsourcing, and technology transition services in corporate mergers and divestitures. Mr. Irvine also handles software licensing and development, web and application hosting, online privacy and other general technology matters.

Mr. Irvine has represented clients in a wide range of industries, including entertainment, retail, technology, financial, insurance and healthcare. Mr. Irvine has worked extensively in the technology industry where he developed middleware software as a consultant to financial institutions in New York City. Recently, Mr. Irvine has been part of several major information technology outsourcing (ITO) and business process outsourcing (BPO) transactions resulting from the Vivendi Universal Entertainment-NBC merger to create the world's largest entertainment company, NBC Universal.

Mr. Irvine co-authored "Adaptive Pricing Comes into Focus" in the June 2003 issue of Optimize, which discusses innovative pricing approaches in outsourcing transactions. He also co-authored "Anticipating Operational Technology Issues Becoming Critical to Success" for the New York Law Journal in March 2003. 

Mr. Irvine is admitted to practice in New York.
