Corey R. Houmand

Corey R. Houmand is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation and Intellectual Property Practices. Mr. Houmand focuses his practice on litigating patent, trademark, copyright, trade secret, and related intellectual property matters, including unfair competition.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Houmand served as a law clerk for Judge Mary Beck Briscoe of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit and for Judge Samuel G. Wilson of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Virginia.

Mr. Houmand earned his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law in 2008, where he graduated magna cum laude and was named to the Order of the Coif and the Order of the Barristers. During law school, Mr. Houmand served as an articles editor for the Wake Forest Law Review and participated in the National Moot Court competition and the National First Amendment Moot Court competition. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Houmand taught eighth grade mathematics for two years as a Teach for America Corps member in McAllen, Texas. Mr. Houmand received his B.S. in mathematics, with honors, from Wake Forest University in 2003, where he graduated summa cum laude with Phi Beta Kappa distinction.

Mr. Houmand is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
