Rebecca Licht Jensen is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Jensen represents private and public employers in all aspects of employment law, including wrongful termination, discrimination, retaliation, and harassment litigation. She has experience defending single-and multiplaintiff cases, including class actions.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Jensen participated in the firm's Public Interest Fellowship Program, and worked at the California Attorney General’s Office in the Employment and Administrative Mandate Division. She represented the state in a variety of employment matters, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and class action litigation. Ms. Jensen also appeared in court on behalf of state agencies in administrative mandamus hearings.
Ms. Jensen earned her J.D. from the University of San Francisco School of Law in 2009, where she was a member of the University of San Francisco Law Review and a brief specialist for the Philip C. Jessup International Law Appellate Advocacy Team. In 2009, she served as a judicial extern to Justice Kathryn M. Werdegar of the California Supreme Court. She received her B.A. in political economies of industrialized societies from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006.
Ms. Jensen is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
