Nicholas J. Kim is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Intellectual Property Practice. Mr. Kim focuses his practice on patent litigation, procurement, and counseling in the electrical and mechanical arts. His prosecution experience includes ex parte and inter partes reexamination.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Kim was an IP litigation associate at a major international law firm. He is a registered patent attorney and a former patent examiner.
Mr. Kim earned his J.D., cum laude, from the George Mason University School of Law in 2008, where he was the senior notes editor for the Federal Circuit Bar Journal, the official journal of the Federal Circuit Bar Association. He earned a S.B. in aerospace engineering with information technology and a S.B. in economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2003.
Mr. Kim is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, New York, and Massachusetts and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
