Anita Polott is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Intellectual Property Practice. Ms. Polott's practice focuses on intellectual property litigation, counseling, licensing and prosecution matters involving copyrights, trademarks and unfair competition. She has advised clients regarding enforcement matters and represented clients in federal court litigation involving trademark, copyright and unfair competition matters and in Trademark Trial and Appeal Board cancellation and opposition proceedings.

Ms. Polott regularly counsels clients regarding all facets of international trademark portfolio management including advising and assisting clients with the clearance, registration and protection of brands on a worldwide basis. She also works with clients on intellectual property aspects of corporate transactions and negotiating trademark licenses and related agreements.

Ms. Polott is active in the International Trademark Association, currently as a member of the Trademark Enforcement Committee, Opposition and Cancellation Proceedings Standards and Procedures Subcommittee.

Ms. Polott earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from American University, Washington College of Law in 1996 and her B.A. from Washington University in 1993. She lives in Rockville, Maryland, and is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Maryland.
