Martin d'Halluin is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Antitrust Practice. Mr. d'Halluin represents clients in a wide range of antitrust matters, with a focus on mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and cartel-related matters (European and U.S. litigations). He has experience with premerger notifications under the Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) Act, European competition law, and with the merger control laws of several other jurisdictions.
Martin recently assisted with getting antitrust approvals for Hewlett-Packard's $10.2 billion acquisition of firm client Autonomy Corporation plc. This transaction required multiple filings in various countries.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis Antitrust Practice in New York, Mr. d'Halluin was an associate in the antitrust group of a major international law firm in Brussels, and prior to that with Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice, resident in Paris. Before that, he was a teaching assistant at the University of Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne from 2006 to 2008, and clerked for Justice Carole Champalaune of the Cour de cassation in Paris in 2005.
Mr. d'Halluin earned his LL.M. from Harvard Law School in 2009. He earned his master's degree, with honors, in U.S. business law in 2005 and his master's degree in business and tax law in 2004 from the Université de Paris I, Panthéon Sorbonne. He earned his M.A. from H.E.C. - Business School in 2004 and his Maîtrise en droit des affaires from the Université de Paris XI, Sceaux in 2004. Mr. d'Halluin is fluent in French and English.
