Sean P. Lynch is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Mr. Lynch represents employers in a broad array of labor and employment matters in federal and state trial and appellate courts, various arbitration forums, and before administrative agencies. His practice includes defending employers against wage and hour class and collective actions and against discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims. Mr. Lynch also handles disputes involving individual employee rights, such as claims of alleged breach of contract, wrongful discharge, misappropriation of trade secrets, and for enforcement and opposition to enforcement of restrictive employment covenants.

Mr. Lynch regularly counsels employers in a variety of labor and employment matters, including the accommodation of employee disabilities and medical leaves, harassment claims, workplace privacy, employee disciplinary issues, individual and group termination decisions, and the drafting of all forms of employee manuals and policies. He has led internal investigations into various harassment and discrimination claims and negotiated employment, noncompete, and separation agreements.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Lynch was an associate at a prominent Mid-Atlantic law firm, focusing on general commercial litigation. He represented corporate clients and individuals before state and federal courts in a broad range of litigation matters at the trial and appellate levels.

Mr. Lynch received his J.D., cum laude, from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2002, where he was a Dean's Scholar, named to the Order of the Coif, and awarded the Seton Hall Center for Social Justice Award for Outstanding Achievement for his work with Seton Hall's Civil Litigation Clinic. He received his B.A., cum laude, in politics from Wake Forest University in 1999.

Mr. Lynch is admitted to practice in New Jersey and New York and before the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Second and Third Circuits, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.
