Umung D. Varma is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. As a member of Morgan Lewis's appellate team, Mr. Varma focuses on cases in both state and federal courts of appeal.
Mr. Varma earned his J.D. from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2005, where he was president of the GULC Wine Tasters. He earned his B.S., magna cum laude, in applied and engineering physics with a minor in computer science from Cornell University in 2002. Mr. Varma also studied at The Doon School in India, where he was awarded a Scholar's Blazer.
Mr. Varma is admitted to practice in California and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
