Kelly Basinger Charnley is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Attorneys in this practice regularly advise clients on virtually every type of labor and employment issue, from international counseling to management relations and labor disputes. Attorneys include the former chair of the Labor and Employment Law Section of the American Bar Association and fellows in the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers.

Ms. Charnley earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from Villanova University School of Law in 2005, where she was named to the Order of the Coif and received the Herman Mitchell Schwartz Award for outstanding contributions to the equality of opportunity and treatment for women. While in law school, Ms. Charnley served as a managing editor of the Villanova Sports & Entertainment Law Journal, president of the Labor and Employment Law Society, and development coordinator for the Villanova Law Public Interest Fellowship Program. Additionally, she served as a judicial intern to Judge Clarence C. Newcomer of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to law school, Ms. Charnley worked at the General Electric Corporation as a financial analyst and graduated from its Financial Management Program. She earned her B.A., magna cum laude, in economics and public policy from the University of Notre Dame in 2000.

Ms. Charnley currently serves on the board of the Villanova Law Alumni Association and is a member of the American, Pennsylvania, and Philadelphia Bar Associations.

Ms. Charnley is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
