Christopher J. Desmond is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice. The lawyers in our Business and Finance Practice focus on mergers and acquisitions (including joint ventures, spin-offs, and strategic alliances), finance and restructuring, securities (including public and private equity and debt offerings), and tax. Clients range from Fortune 500 companies to investment banks to emerging market companies.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Desmond was an associate in the Structured Finance Practice in the New York office of an international law firm. Prior to that, he was an associate in the U.S. Capital Markets Practice in the London office of an international law firm.
Mr. Desmond earned his J.D. from New York University School of Law in 2006, where he was an associate editor of the Moot Court Board. He received his M.A. in English from Stanford University in 2003 and his B.A. in English, with minors in math and computer science, from Stanford University in 2002.
Mr. Desmond is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York.
