Sarah Andrews is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Andrews represents employers in both complex- and single-plaintiff discrimination and harassment cases (including gender, race, age, and disability discrimination and harassment), administrative agency complaints filed with state and federal agencies such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Pennsylvania Human Rights Commission, employment contract disputes, employee benefits litigation, and FLSA collective actions.
Additionally, Ms. Andrews counsels employers in day-to-day labor and employment law matters, particularly wage and hour and family and medical leave issues, employee manuals and policies, and litigation avoidance.
Ms. Andrews served as a law clerk to Chief Judge Gary L. Lancaster of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania from 2010 to 2011, and to Chief Justice Ralph J. Cappy of the Pennsylvania Supreme Court from 2006 to 2007.
Ms. Andrews earned her J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law in 2006, where she was a member of the Duquesne Law Review. She is currently the coach of Duquesne's Arbitration Competition Team and was named the Recent Graduate Woman of the Year in 2010. Ms. Andrews earned her M.A., magna cum laude, in theatre history from the University of Pittsburgh in 2002 and her B.A., magna cum laude, in theatre arts from Gannon University in 2000.
