Dae Gunn Jei

Associate

Dae Gunn Jei is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Intellectual Property Practice. Mr. Jei focuses his practice on patent prosecution, procurement, and litigation in the electrical and mechanical arts.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Jei was a research fellow at the American Antitrust Institute, an independent nonprofit education, research, and advocacy organization in the antitrust field.

In addition, Mr. Jei worked for Samsung Electronics in Korea for more than eight years. After working as a mobile telecommunication engineer, he was involved in various aspects of patent matters in the telecommunication and network businesses of Samsung Electronics, such as negotiation prior to litigation, litigation in the United States and Europe, procurement of patents, patent prosecution, and standard-setting activities.

Mr. Jei earned his J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center in 2009. He earned his M.S and B.S., both in electrical communication engineering, in 1998 and 1996, respectively, from Hanyang University, Korea. He is fluent in Korean.

Mr. Jei is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
