Madid C. Gonzalez is a senior attorney in Morgan Lewis's Labor and Employment Practice. Ms. Gonzalez represents management in all aspects of employment litigation and labor relations, including race, national origin, age, disability, pregnancy, and religious discrimination, harassment and retaliation in violation of federal law, state statutes and local ordinances. She also has experience in wage and hour actions under the Fair Labor Standards Act. Ms. Gonzalez has represented employers in single-plaintiff lawsuits, and class and collective actions before federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels, before federal and state administrative agencies and in labor arbitrations.
Ms. Gonzalez earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School in 2000. She earned her B.A., summa cum laude, in clinical psychology from Tufts University in 1997.
Ms. Gonzalez is admitted to practice in Florida and before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Florida.
