John S. (Jack) Edwards, Jr. is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Mr. Edwards handles a wide variety of civil and criminal matters in state and federal courts. He has represented companies in antitrust, contracts, copyright, insurance coverage, preemption, product liability, trade secrets, toxic tort, and wrongful death cases. His criminal experience includes the representation of companies in response to state and federal grand jury subpoenas involving fraud and copyright violations.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Edwards worked as a litigation associate for an international law firm in Houston.
Mr. Edwards earned his J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law in 2003. While in law school, he interned at the Virginia Capital Representation Resource Center in Charlottesville, VA, where he represented death row inmates in their state and federal habeas corpus appeals. He earned his A.B. in economics from Princeton University in 1998.
Mr. Edwards is admitted to practice in Texas and before the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Western Districts of Texas and the U.S. Courts of Appeals for the Fourth and Fifth Circuits.
