Nagwa Hultquist is of counsel in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice. Ms. Hultquist focuses her practice on product liability, complex mass tort, and toxic tort litigation, with a specific focus on litigation management and strategy. Her experience includes coordinating multidistrict and national litigation involving claims of occupational exposure to asbestos, silica, benzene, and welding fumes. She presently serves as regional and national coordinating counsel to Fortune 500 companies with respect to mass tort litigation. Ms. Hultquist's experience also includes antitrust compliance and litigation, EPA enforcement, commercial litigation, and appellate briefing.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Hultquist served as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 manufacturer where she was responsible for setting and executing legal strategies for the company's litigation matters, including national asbestos litigation and EPA enforcement matters. She was a leader in effectively managing litigation by using innovative risk mitigation strategies and litigation metrics analysis to deliver effective and cost-efficient results.
Ms. Hultquist received her J.D. from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1995, where she was the student materials editor for the Tennessee Law Review and a member of the Moot Court Board and the Order of the Barristers. She received her B.A. in philosophy from Kenyon College in 1982.
Ms. Hultquist is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia and Tennessee.
