Sean P. Duffy is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Antitrust Practice. Mr. Duffy's practice focuses on conducting internal investigations and representing clients in criminal and civil cases involving allegations of price-fixing and monopolization. He also assists clients in responding to Request for Additional Information and Documentary Materials (Second Requests) from the U.S. Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission in relation to merger investigations. Mr. Duffy's antitrust counseling experience spans diverse industries and includes providing guidance on the antitrust implications of business practices as well as designing and implementing compliance and executive education programs.

Mr. Duffy also regularly represents clients in matters before the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) concerning transfers of national security and critical infrastructure assets. He has obtained clearances on behalf of foreign buyers and domestic sellers, in acquisitions, investments, and joint ventures. Mr. Duffy is experienced in dealing with CFIUS and related U.S. government agencies in mitigating Foreign Ownership, Control, and Influence (FOCI) issues that may arise while securing a clearance of a proposed transaction.

Mr. Duffy received his J.D., magna cum laude, from George Washington University Law School, where he was a member of The George Washington International Law Review and named to the Order of the Coif. While in law school, he served as a judicial intern to Judge Rosemary M. Collyer of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia. Mr. Duffy received his A.B., cum laude, from Georgetown University in 2003.

Mr. Duffy is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia.
