Christopher C. Loeber is a partner in Morgan Lewis's Litigation Practice and co-leader of the firm's Food Products Industry Group. Mr. Loeber represents clients in a wide variety of complex commercial disputes. His diversified practice includes counseling and representing food manufacturers and distributors, oil and gas enterprises, life sciences companies, retailers, financial services providers, franchisors, and other sophisticated entities in insurance coverage disputes, contract and business tort actions, internal corporate investigations, and all manner of general commercial litigation and arbitration.
As co-leader of the firm's Food Products Industry Group, Mr. Loeber works closely with a variety of other practices—including FDA, Business and Finance, Labor and Employment, and Intellectual Property—to coordinate the wide array of services that the Firm provides to clients in the food and beverage industry.
Mr. Loeber also has experience in insurance coverage matters. He represents Fortune 500 and similar insureds in a broad range of complex insurance disputes, including matters involving comprehensive general liability, errors and omissions, first party property, directors and officers, fiduciary liability and broad-based leveraged corporate-owned life insurance policies. Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Mr. Loeber spent eight years representing multinational insurance carriers in intellectual property, environmental, and other types of coverage lawsuits in state and federal courts throughout the country.
Among his other responsibilities, Mr. Loeber serves as a member of the Litigation Practice's Business Development Team and is a leader of the Litigation Practice's Associate Core Skills Development Team. He is also a member of the Princeton office Professional Evaluation Committee.
Mr. Loeber frequently writes and lectures on a variety of insurance coverage and general litigation topics. He is a contributor to Insurance Coverage Disputes (Law Journal Press) and is also a co-author of "Non-Verbal Behavior, Gender and Influence," Journal of Personality and Social Psychology, June 1995.
