Yi "Ella" Ge is an associate in Morgan Lewis's Business and Finance Practice and Greater China Practice. Ms. Ge focuses her practice on mergers and acquisitions, real estate finance, private equity, and capital markets.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Ms. Ge worked at a major PRC law firm and, before that, at a top-tier UK law firm. She has participated in a number of mergers and acquisitions, private equity funds, real estate structured financing, and A-share capital market transactions. Ms. Ge has represented major real estate companies, petrochemical companies, and financial institutions in their multimillion investment and financing projects.
Ms. Ge received her LL.M. from Duke University School of Law in 2008 and her LL.B. from the University of International Business and Economics, Beijing, in 2007.
Ms. Ge is admitted to practice in New York only.
戈旖是摩根路易斯律师事务所北京办公室的一名律师。戈旖律师的执业经验主要集中在并购、地产金融、私募融资和资本市场等领域。
在加入本所之前，戈律师分别在知名的英国律师事务所和中国律师事务所工作。她曾参与数个外资并购、私募基金、房地产结构化融资和A股上市项目。戈律师曾服务的客户包括知名的房地产公司、石化公司和金融机构，交易金额达数十亿人民币。
戈律师2007年毕业于对外经济贸易大学法学院，获法学学士学位；2008年毕业于美国杜克大学法学院，获法学硕士学位。
戈律师拥有美国纽约州律师执照，于2010年通过了中国司法考试。

- Represented a leading PRC real estate company in its RMB1500 million structured financing transaction, dealing with a major PRC trust company.

- Counseled a PRC agricultural company in its A-share IPO project.
