Dr. Axel Spies, of counsel, and Jason Scherr, partner, presented on “eDiscovery and EU/US Data Flows After Snowden – United States versus EU.” The presentation provided an overview on the most recent developments after the Snowden revelations and how they affect the international eDiscovery practice.
Also discussed were the most recent developments of the EU data protection reform and their impact on eDiscovery. In addition, they addressed more recent developments and general trends in the United States for eDiscovery and how it may affect European parties.
