Today, the House of Representatives, as expect, voted 244-185 to repeal the Affordable Care Act (ACA) in its entirety. As was the case with the first vote in January 2011, all House Republicans voted to repeal the ACA. On that original vote, only three Democrats—Rep. Boren, Rep. Ross and Rep. McIntyre—supported repeal. On today's vote, two more Democrats—Rep. Kissell and Rep. Matheson—voted to repeal. This vote is largely symbolic in that it is very doubtful that any vote to repeal the ACA will occur in the Senate prior to the November elections.
