Monday, October 22, 2012

PHILADELPHIA, October 22, 2012:  Morgan Lewis's eData practice has been recognized as a stand out among law firms for its innovation in delivering ediscovery services to clients. Technology plays a central role in achieving this unique position, and the firm has once again chosen a leading ediscovery technology to enhance its technology portfolio.

Morgan Lewis has teamed up with kCura to license the popular eDiscovery software Relativity and expand the breadth of solutions available to clients. Relativity is a fully featured, web-based eDiscovery platform for review, analysis and production. Relativity compliments the firm's existing technology offerings, which includes Recommind's Axcelerate Ediscovery—the industry leading predictive coding technology. With these tools, Morgan Lewis is able to offer eDiscovery that is scalable to a broad range of cases—dealing with massive data in a large civil action case or providing quick insight into an internal investigation.

"The Morgan Lewis eData practice brings together attorneys, technologists and tools to meet the needs of our clients across a broad range of legal disciplines. As part of that effort, we're continuously improving our workflows and adding technological solutions that address the ediscovery needs of our diverse client base," said Tess Blair, leader of the eData practice at Morgan Lewis. "To do that, we need to make sure we have the appropriate software to scale, and that's why we chose Relativity."
