NEW YORK, August 21, 2018: Morgan Lewis represented The Economist Group, a provider of international business and world affairs news and analysis, in the sale of CQ Roll Call to FiscalNote, which leverages its own technology to track and analyze global legislative data and help organizations connect with government officials.
The transaction closed on August 20, 2018, and the combined company will operate as FiscalNote. The Economist Group obtains an 18% equity stake in FiscalNote, making it the largest single shareholder of the company.
