Today, the law of what constitutes insider trading got a bit more clear when Todd Newman (formerly of Diamondback Capital) and Anthony Chiasson (formerly of Level Global) had their convictions overturned by the 2nd Circuit of Appeal (Circuit Judges Ralph K. Winter, Barrington D. Parker, Jr., Peter W. Hall).
