The law firm rankings are based on the total number of active deals handled in the United States in the first quarter of 2014. For the first quarter, out of more than 100 law firms, Morgan Lewis was listed as the number three bankruptcy law firm, based on the number of active bankruptcy matters. During the same period, The Deal also ranked two Morgan Lewis Business and Finance Practice partners among the top 10 bankruptcy lawyers by a combination of size of cases and number of matters. Partner Andrew Gottfried was ranked number four and partner Wendy Walker was ranked number six on this table.
