On September 10, 2014, Morgan Lewis presented the third installment of our 2014 Plan Sponsor Basics webinar series, which focuses on the issues that many plan sponsors face in the design and operation of their retirement plans.
This program was designed to help plan sponsors prepare for and manage plan audits (both annual audits from independent auditors and audits initiated by governmental agencies) and included a discussion of the Internal Revenue Service’s recent emphasis on “internal controls”–style audits and the Department of Labor’s health plan audit initiative.
