Andrew D. Allen focuses his practice on complex tax controversy and tax litigation. Drew has represented clients in the US Tax Court, US District Courts, and California Superior Court, in addition to US Courts of Appeals and California appellate courts. He has also counseled clients at various levels of administrative proceedings before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Franchise Tax Board (FTB), California Employment Development Department (EDD), and the San Francisco Treasurer and Tax Collector.

Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Drew was an associate at a boutique tax litigation firm in San Francisco, where he represented clients in civil tax controversy litigation, as well as criminal tax and white collar criminal litigation. He is active in the Tax Section of the State Bar of California, where he was recently the co-chairman of the Bay Area Young Tax Lawyers section.
