Alessandro Maria Barone advises on all aspects of EU competition law, including merger control, cartel investigations, behavioral matters, and State aid. Alessandro’s practice focuses on multi-jurisdictional merger control filings, where he has experience in various sectors, including technology, consumer goods, banking, telecoms, and financial services. He regularly represents clients in proceedings before the European Commission.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Alessandro practiced at the Brussels office of a major US law firm as a member of its antitrust and competition group. He is fluent in Italian, English, and Spanish.
