Alexander M. Shapos advises clients on corporate matters with a focus on structured finance transactions. Alex represents a diverse range of clients, including issuers, underwriters, lenders, borrowers and other market participants in a variety of transactions, including public and private issuances of asset-backed securities and the structuring of warehouse credit facilities.
During law school, Alex served as a legal intern for the Securities and Exchange Commission, the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, and Cardozo’s Securities Arbitration Clinic, and also served as the Senior Articles Editor of the Cardozo Journal of Conflict Resolution. Before law school, Alex worked as a paralegal for the New York County District Attorney’s Office.
