Alex A. Peña represents both institutional lenders and corporate borrowers in a variety of financing transactions including secured credit facilities, acquisition financings, commercial bank loans, and loan syndications. Before joining Morgan Lewis, Alex served as national president of the National Latina/o Law Student Association.
During his time in law school, Alex participated in Boston College’s Amicus Brief Clinic, where he and a fellow classmate filed an Amici Curiae brief pro se before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, providing guidance on proper standards for judicial dissolution of a corporation. In deciding Koshy v. Sachdev (MASS SUPREME JUDICIAL COURT-12222 (September 14, 2017)), the Court incorporated the core points from the brief into their holding. Following his first year, Alex interned at the Executive Bureau for the Office of the New York State Attorney General.
Prior to attending law school, Alex worked for the New York State Senate.
