Amelia Pennington focuses her practice on complex intellectual property (IP) disputes and counseling, protection of intellectual property rights, trademark prosecution, and global brand management. Amelia’s practice also includes shareholder litigation: books and records demands, derivative actions, and counsels boards responding to shareholder litigation demands. Amelia has an active pro bono practice focusing on veterans, in particular discharge upgrade petitions, including a recent successful discharge upgrade petition to the Air Force Discharge Review Board.
Amelia is actively involved in the Boston Patent Law Association, serving as social media chair, and is also involved in the International Trademark Association. Amelia graduated valedictorian from her law school and is frequently asked to speak at her alma matter including being the keynote speaker for the Student Awards Ceremony.
While attending law school, Amelia was a research assistant for two professors and was selected to compete in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition as part of a two-person trademark moot court team. Amelia also participated in the Honors Judicial Internship program, serving as an intern to Judge Denise J. Casper of the US District Court for the District of Massachusetts in 2017.
