Ali Mireshghi, Ph.D. focuses his practice on patent preparation and prosecution in a variety of areas, including electronics, communications, artificial intelligence, software, imaging, optical devices, medical devices, semiconductor, microsensors, power systems, and business methods. He has more than 30 years of technical academic, research, and industry experience.
Dr. Mireshghi has served as a professor of electrical and biomedical engineering at a prominent overseas university, as a visiting associate professor at the University of California at Berkeley, and as a staff scientist at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, where he conducted research in the area of amorphous silicon radiation detectors. He is the author of numerous scientific journal publications and holds a number of patents. He earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, and his master’s and doctoral degrees in engineering physics with a minor in electronics.
Dr. Mireshghi has filed hundreds of patent applications on behalf of Fortune 100 clients related to areas such as wireless communications, satellite communications, integrated circuits, semiconductors, nanotechnology, microsensors, media broadcasting, and electrical power generation, and has successfully prosecuted numerous patent applications in a number of technical areas to issuance. He has provided technical and legal support for foreign prosecution of many foreign patent applications including European patent applications, and has provided recommendations regarding foreign patent application filings.
