Andriette A. Roberts represents employers in her labor and employment practice. She handles cases involving employee allegations of sexual harassment; defamation; the denial of employee benefits; discrimination based on age, race, sex, national origin, and disability; whistleblower claims; wrongful discharge; and related matters. Andriette also regularly advises companies from small startups to global conglomerates on the day-to-day employment relationship, and she devotes time to providing strategic advice related to the negotiation and administration of collective bargaining agreements.
Andriette provides support on all matters before the National Labor Relations Board, the National Mediation Board, and labor arbitration proceedings. Employers seek counsel from Andriette on other employment policy issues including reductions in force, wage and hour, whistleblower, termination, and discrimination matters. Andriette drafts employment policies and agreements and advises clients about the particular impact that mergers, acquisitions, and other major business transactions will have on labor and employment.
A strong advocate for pro bono work, Andriette currently is vice chair of the Pro Bono Committee for the New York office. She maintains an active pro bono practice.
