Ashley N. Templeton concentrates her practice on structured finance and securitization, representing issuers, underwriters and investors in connection with domestic and cross-border public offerings and private placements of mortgage-backed and asset-backed securities. Ashley’s practice encompasses whole loan sales, asset backed securities issuances, and the securitization and resecuritization of financial assets and receivables, including residential, multifamily and commercial loan transactions for the US Small Business Administration, the Government National Mortgage Association (Ginnie Mae) and Freddie Mac, and the issuance of securities backed by the full faith and credit of the United States.

Ashley has also represented clients in forming various corporate entities, including statutory trusts, corporations and LLCs, and has provided counsel with respect to the creation of special purpose, bankruptcy-remote entities.
