Benjamin Weiss concentrates his practice on United States federal and international tax planning matters. Ben advises a wide range of business entities across various industries on planning mergers and acquisitions, formation of joint ventures, spinoffs, reorganizations, and fund formations. He also advises clients on the creation and operation of private and pooled investment vehicles. Ben counsels clients on securities filings and IRS private letter ruling submissions as well as providing opinion support on complex tax matters. He is admitted in New York only; PA admission pending. His practice is supervised by PA Bar members.

Previously, Ben worked in the transaction tax group of a Big 4 public accounting firm where he provided tax due diligence and transaction-structuring services to corporate and private equity clients. He focused on US and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, restructurings, and legal entity rationalization. While in law school, Ben interned with the IRS Office of Chief Counsel – Large Business and International Division.
