Benjamin K. Jacobs represents and advises employers in an array of complex disputes and legal issues arising out of the workplace. He has successfully defended employers facing discrimination, harassment, wage and hour, and whistleblower claims, as well as noncompete and trade secrets litigation. In addition to his litigation work, Ben counsels clients to help them comply with employment and independent contractor laws and drafts employment and noncompete agreements.
Ben has litigated class, collective, and single-plaintiff employment litigation in federal and state courts as well as government agencies such as the US Department of Labor (DOL). His clients span the pharmaceutical, financial services, healthcare, retail, professional services, and food and beverage industries.
Ben has a strong commitment to pro bono work. He provides pro bono counsel to small business clients on various employment law issues and participates in the Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s Prisoner Civil Rights Panel.
While in law school, Ben served as an intern with the US Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
