Benjamin K. Jacobs represents clients through trials and appeals in high-stakes employment cases. He has achieved victories for employers facing discrimination, harassment, wage-and-hour, breach-of-contract, and whistleblower claims, and has obtained crucial injunctive relief in high-profile noncompete, nonsolicit, and trade secret cases. Ben also has extensive experience managing complex class and collective actions, including serving as the lead associate for a client facing a series of such lawsuits across the country. In addition to his litigation work, Ben counsels clients to help them comply with employment and independent contractor laws, and also drafts employment and restrictive covenant agreements.
Ben is ready, willing, and able to represent clients at trial. He has second-chaired a one-week arbitration that resulted in a complete victory for his client (including a multi-million dollar award on a counterclaim) and a bench trial in federal court that ended in a complete defense verdict for his client.
Ben has a strong commitment to pro bono work and his community. He provides pro bono counsel to small businesses and non-profit organizations on various employment law issues and has participated on the Eastern District of Pennsylvania’s Prisoner Civil Rights Panel. Ben has also served on the board of directors for the Kelly Anne Dolan Memorial Fund, which helps families caring for children with serious illnesses, disabilities, and injuries.
