Brianna Ricqué Howard has successfully represented clients in commercial and intellectual property disputes in state and federal courts. Her experience includes advising clients in the retail, fashion, life sciences, technology, and sports sectors. While in law school, Brianna served as the executive editor of Hastings Women’s Law Journal, a board member of Hastings Black Law Students Association, and a board member of Hastings Moot Court where she was named National Champion, First Place Oralist, and Second Place Brief of the Cardozo/BMI Entertainment and Media Moot Court Competition.
Brianna advises corporations, small business, and private individuals across a broad range of legal issues, including complex commercial disputes, consumer class actions, product liability litigation, breach of contract, real estate litigation, unfair competition claims, trade secret litigation, and other intellectual property disputes.
Brianna has also focused part of her practice on clients involved in gaming, esports, and virtual reality technologies. She has published a number of articles about the legal issues facing these industries including pieces in Forbes, TechCrunch, and VentureBeat.
She now serves as a board member of The American Lawyer’s Young Lawyer Editorial Board and dedicates most of her public service to organizations focused on children’s rights.
