Brittany Washington litigates intellectual property disputes involving patent infringement and trade secrets before US district courts, the US International Trade Commission, and arbitration panels. She represents clients across a broad range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, high-tech, and consumer goods. Brittany also counsels clients on intellectual property issues in life science portfolio acquisitions and corporate transactions. Brittany is a registered patent attorney with a background in chemistry.
While in law school, Brittany was a judicial extern for Judge Matthew F. Kennelly of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to her legal career, she worked in research and development for Procter & Gamble. Brittany is committed to serving the public interest and has successfully represented pro bono clients during law school and her career.
