Brittany Washington focuses her practice on patent and trade secret litigation matters and proceedings before the US Patent and Trademark Office. Brittany represents clients across a broad range of industries, including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, high-tech, and consumer goods. She also counsels clients on intellectual property issues in private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. Brittany is a registered patent attorney with a background in chemistry.
While in law school, Brittany was a judicial extern for Judge Matthew F. Kennelly of the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Prior to her legal career, she worked in research and development for Procter & Gamble. Brittany is committed to serving the public interest and has successfully represented pro bono clients during law school and her career.
