J. Carlos Gonzalez’s practice focuses primarily on the National Labor Relations Act. He represents clients in arbitrations, collective bargaining matters, and proceedings before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB). Before joining Morgan Lewis, Carlos was a labor attorney at the NLRB in Los Angeles. There, he investigated, negotiated the settlement of, and litigated unfair labor practice charges. Many of these cases involved allegations of union discrimination, bad faith bargaining/impasse, unlawful handbook rules, and single/joint employer matters.
In addition to litigating unfair labor practice cases before administrative law judges, Carlos litigated Section 10(j) injunction petitions before the US District Court for the Central District of California.
