Chelsea L. Conanan’s practice focuses on counseling and defending clients on a variety of federal, state and local law employment issues, including employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour, reductions in force, and ERISA matters. She represents employers in single-plaintiff, multiplaintiff, and complex collective and class action litigation before US federal and state courts.
In her work on behalf of pro bono clients, Chelsea advises disabled veterans before the US Department of Veterans Affairs, represents asylum claimants in immigration proceedings, and advises nonprofit organizations on day-to-day employment issues. Prior to law school, Chelsea was a paralegal for the Civil Division, Environmental Torts Section of the US Department of Justice in Washington, DC.
