Cindy L. Dole collaborates with clients at the intersection of technology, intellectual property (IP), and finance. In her technology-based transactional practice, she advises on matters including corporate partnering, open source software strategy, distribution and sales arrangements, cloud computing, and other electronic commerce (e-commerce). Additionally, Cindy helps companies develop and implement IP strategy in connection with financings, mergers, acquisitions, and initial public offerings (IPOs).
Clients turn to Cindy for counsel on matters including technology licensing; cross-border licensing; transfers of IP rights; supply, manufacturing, and foundry relationships; and strategic alliances. Cindy also advises clients on venture capital financing, private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, and securities, with an emphasis on investment in emerging companies.
Before joining Morgan Lewis, she participated in the firm’s Public Interest Fellowship Program. There, she worked at the California Law Revision Commission conducting legal and policy analysis on complex and controversial legal problems targeted for reform by the state legislature.
