As part of her practice, she advises clients on employee relations, personnel policies, wage and hour laws, EEO compliance, leaves of absences, hiring, discipline, and termination. Clients also seek Carol’s counsel about internal investigations, restrictive covenants, whistleblower claims, contingent workforce, and reductions in force.
Carol frequently presents seminars on employment topics such as managing within the law and legislative developments. As a former commissioner on the California Fair Employment and Housing Commission, Carol participated in drafting and revising regulations addressing training and disability discrimination.
