Cailin Heilig counsels employers in a variety of industries on a range of labor and employment issues, including wage and hour compliance and disability and leave processes, and regularly defends employers in litigation and in arbitration. She also advises employers in planning and implementing workforce changes, including reductions in force, facility shutdowns, and relocations, and corporate transactions, including mergers, sales, acquisitions, and startups.
Cailin defends clients in single plaintiff, multi-plaintiff, and complex class, and collective actions involving alleged discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, whistleblower, and wage and hour claims before US federal and state courts, administrative agencies, and arbitration panels. She also represents employers in government agency investigations and audits.
In addition to litigation, Cailin advises clients on employment policies, and agreements, as well as employee relations issues, including investigations into workplace complaints and counseling related to hiring, performance management, and terminations.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Cailin was an associate at another Philadelphia employment law firm where she focused on employment litigation in the financial services industry. Earlier in her career, Cailin was a paralegal in the labor and employment group of Morgan Lewis.
