Christopher T. Jensen concentrates on public and private securities offerings, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, and general securities and corporate advice. He has counseled issuers and underwriters in IPOs and secondary offerings of securities under the Securities Act of 1933, including in connection with the consolidation of companies in highly fragmented industries and the concurrent IPOs of such companies. Chris also advises public companies in the preparation and filing of periodic reports under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934.
Chris counsels buyers, buyout funds, and sellers in transactions that include stock and asset purchases and sales, mergers, reorganizations, and related transactions in mergers and acquisitions. He has also advised special committees of boards of directors in their analysis and negotiation of such transactions.
A member of the Recruiting Committee for the firm’s New York office for more than 25 years, Chris was chairman of the Recruiting Committee and hiring partner for the New York office for 10 years. He also served for many years as a member of the Business and Finance Senior Leadership Group, Fiduciary Review Committee, and Audit Response Committee.
