Constance Boutsikaris focuses her practice on protection and enforcement of matters related to trademark, false advertising, unfair competition, and copyright. Connie advises clients on all aspects of intellectual property (IP) portfolio management, including issues involving trademark clearance, registration, and maintenance. Connie assists clients in protecting their valuable brands through administrative proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. She also counsels clients on a variety of domain name issues, including filing and defending claims under the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolution Policy (UDRP).
Before joining Morgan Lewis, Connie was an associate at a boutique law firm specializing in trademark and copyright law in Washington, DC. Connie previously worked at the US Copyright Office, where she helped establish remedies for copyright small claims, revised the Compendium of U.S. Copyright Office Practices, and drafted Review Board final administrative decisions on the Examining Division’s refusal to register works.
While attending law school, Connie served as a production editor of CommLaw Conspectus: The Journal of Communications Law and Policy, and as vice president of the Intellectual Property Law Students Association. Connie also received a certificate in recognition of her outstanding commitment to pro bono service. She is fluent in Greek.
