Courtney Creighton Sokol advises a diverse range of clients from Fortune 500 companies to emerging businesses on corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture capital, and joint ventures in both domestic and cross-border transactions. She represents public and private companies through strategic acquisitions and divestiture transactions. Courtney has experience in a broad range of industries, including financial services, media, health care, retail, food and beverage, and technology.
While in law school, Courtney was a judicial intern for Magistrate Judge Anne Y. Shields of the US District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She also served as the Director of External Relations for the St. John’s Moot Court Honor Society and as a staff member of the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review.
