Christopher A. Owens guides clients through secured and unsecured financing transactions and creditor’s rights cases. Chris represents lenders and borrowers in venture capital; early stage and ABL debt transactions; and agents in syndicated credit facilities in various industries, including the motion picture and television industry. His background includes partnering with financial institutions in the context of numerous slate and other credit facilities, as well as for a wide range of refinancings, intercreditor arrangements, workouts and restructurings in a variety of industries.
Chris represents institutional banks, sponsors, venture capital funds, institutional investors, and borrowers in a variety of financing transactions, including both lenders and sponsors in leveraged acquisitions. With experience in bankruptcy and restructuring, Chris teams with prepetition lenders, trade creditors, and other providers of debtor-in-possession financings in major Chapter 11 proceedings.
