Danby P. Kim represents a diverse range of clients, including private and public companies, Fortune 500 companies, and private equity sponsors, on a wide array of transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, asset purchases, dispositions, private equity investments, joint ventures, recapitalizations, and general corporate matters. He also has experience representing companies owned by employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) and clients acquiring ESOP-owned companies. Danby represents clients from a variety of industries, including retail, transportation, automotive, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, fintech, and financial services.
Prior to joining Morgan Lewis, Danby worked as an associate at the New York office of another international law firm. While attending law school, Danby served as an associate editor of the University of Pennsylvania Journal of International Law and as a research assistant for Professor Paul H. Robinson.
