Daniel Bucca, Ph.D., devotes his practice to procuring, enforcing, and licensing patent rights and strategic, worldwide patent portfolio counseling with particular emphasis on life science, chemical, and material science technologies. Dan has experience conducting IP transactions, freedom-to-operate, patentability, validity and non-infringement opinions, and complex, global intellectual property matters including global litigation, appeals, and proceedings in US and foreign patent offices including post grant reviews, reexaminations, reissues, interferences, oppositions, and nullity actions.
Dan’s clients include US and international companies offering pharmaceuticals, food products, polymers, battery & fuel cell technologies, specialty materials, oil & gas technologies, and environmental remediation technologies.
Previously, Dan worked as a researcher in government laboratories in the semiconductor and chemical industries.
