Danny Hosein collaborates with a team to counsel clients in business law matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, restructurings, and compliance with securities laws. He advises clients ranging from emerging and high-growth businesses to Fortune 500 companies. Danny draws upon prior professional experience in government and nonprofits to bring an accessible, practical, and client-focused approach to his law practice.
Danny strives to understand the broader context that affects his clients’ business decisions. As a former political appointee at the US General Services Administration and US Department of the Interior, he appreciates the influence of policy and politics on businesses. Danny honed a practical approach to problem solving as the Interior Department’s Program Coordinator for America’s Great Outdoors, where he oversaw dozens of public-private partnerships that transcended traditional boundaries between government and business to complete conservation and outdoor recreation projects during tight budgetary times.
Providing thoughtful and practical advice to clients is paramount to Danny’s law practice, and his background as a nonprofit professional informs this approach. As the former Coordinator of Nonprofit Relations for Greater DC Cares, Danny managed relationships with hundreds of nonprofit leaders by being accessible, listening to clients’ needs, and identifying and anticipating opportunities to connect nonprofits with board members, skilled volunteers, and funding resources from businesses.
