Daniel S. Marks represents organizations in a variety of industries on complex global intellectual property (IP) matters. He focuses his practice on US and international transaction matters, specifically, IP matters related to mergers and acquisitions transactions, licensing, technology, and the Internet. His transactional practice includes mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, distribution agreements, and licensing agreements. Daniel also handles international trademark clearance, prosecution, and enforcement, including developing and implementing cost-effective approaches to multi-jurisdictional clearance and protection.
In addition to his transactional work, Daniel advises clients on brand strategy, advertising and marketing strategies (including celebrity spokesperson and merchandising agreements), privacy matters, franchising matters, and litigation matters relating to IP infringement.
He launched his legal career as a law clerk for Morgan Lewis’s intellectual property practice.
